Snavely Forest Products logoPITTSBURGH — Wholesale distributor Snavely Forest Products is opening a new division in Houston. The location will distribute products such as LP SmartSide Siding & Trim, LP SmartStart EWP, TYPAR, Versatex Trimboards, Composite Decking, EDCO Products and other building materials, the company announced. This is the first expansion for Snavely Forest Products since the company was acquired by Weekes Forest Products in February 2018.
“The Houston facility will provide us access to one of the top housing markets in the country as well as allow us to better service surrounding markets including San Antonio and Austin. We are excited to take this very important step in our strategic expansion plan,” said Clark Spitzer, Snavley’s COO.
The new location is expected to open in May. Snavely currently operates distribution centers in Pittsburgh, Westminster, Md., Liberty, N.C., Denver, and Dallas.
