For the 10th edition of 3daysofdesign, the American Hardwood Export Council presents Three, an exhibition that looks to the next generation of Scandinavian designers. Three talented young designer-makers – Anne Brandhøj from Denmark, Pia Högman from Sweden and Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng from Norway – have explored the potential of three American hardwoods with the power to impact change. Red oak, cherry and maple are beautiful timbers that have become undervalued, yet their ongoing use is essential to the long-term sustainability of U.S. hardwood forests.
