Development in the company’s main markets has remained strong.

Stora Enso has issued a positive earnings warning. The company is raising its guidelines for the current year’s operating profit – previously the guidelines were that the result would be approximately in line with 2021, according to the new guidelines, the operating profit will be higher than last year (EUR 1.5 billion).

According to the company, development in the main markets has remained strong. Visibility and predictability for the full year have also improved.

The order books for all six divisions of the company are still full. The market balance has remained tight in many product groups. In addition, the second quarter began with high sales prices, which has helped meet inflationary pressures, Stora Enso said.
